We should all have principles on which to base our decisions and positions whether great or small. Principles should be unchanging and unwavering. Principles are anchors that keep us from being blown to and fro by every wind that comes our way. In this space I will lay out six that are important to me. To me, all six of these principles are related. Could there be others? Sure. But these are a pretty good starting point. We must have something as an anchor. Too many today are blown here and there by whatever happens to be in fashion at the moment. Emotions rule the day far too much in today’s climate. We need anchors instead. We need roots.
